As we celebrate the achievements of the Columbia Business School Class of 2017, it's hard not to feel inspired by the sense of possibility that surrounds us. In an era marked by uncertainty and change, these exceptional individuals are uniquely poised to lead the way.

Fahad Ahmed '17, a student speaker, praised his classmates as being among the best he has ever met. 'We have great opportunities in front of us - great opportunities to let us add real value,' he said. His words resonated with the audience, as they reflected on their own experiences and the incredible growth they've undergone during their time at Columbia Business School.

On May 13th, the Executive MBA students were celebrated in a special Recognition Ceremony on the South Lawn in front of Butler Library. Keynote speaker Mary Beech, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Kate Spade & Company, and Dean Glenn Hubbard, offered inspiring words to the graduates, emphasizing their potential to make a lasting impact.

The Class of 2017 is comprised of 788 members from the Full-Time MBA Program and 280 participants from the Executive MBA Program (EMBA). On May 17th, more than 1,000 members of the Columbia Business School Class of 2017 officially received their MBA degrees at Columbia University's 263rd Commencement.

As they begin this new chapter in their lives, it's clear that these individuals are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and determination to excel. They represent a new generation of leaders who will shape the future and drive innovation.
